It never ceases to amaze me how people seem to assume that strippers have no qualms about hygiene or sex partners.

that's what couch dances are like in Seattle. at some places it's basically paying to be dry-humped. yer lucky you don't have to put up with that crap in your state.

PA has way better laws than CT or HI. Back when I danced in CT, it was lap dance - with one foot on a mini "stage." HI is full out contact. I guess that's mainly because there are so many tourists here that it would be hard to explain the rules in all languages and cover all US state laws. I danced only one week out here and I said fuck it for dancing in Hawaii. It sucks, guys are too touchy and hardly anyone speaks english. The worst are the locals, who hate the haole women. They wont tip and they stare you down all the time.

I should clarify - the CT mini stage was just a circle on the floor where you had to keep one foot in - only law in CT was "no straddling custies" and "custie no touchie you"

He kept following me around while I was trying to talk to customers. Telling me how pretty my eyes and hair and teeth (?) are.

Dentist, maybe?

He could also be from a place where people generally have more limbs than teeth.

I just wanted to thank you for making this journal (though I'm sure the rant space is thanks enough for you). It's very interesting to read, especially as I've never been to a strip club and all I have to go off of is stereotypes (generally untrustworthy things, though entertaining when you meet the ones that they fit perfectly). I very much appreciate the entertaining "view from the inside", especially given how well spoken and interesting the author is.
