Do you have an ice-cream, sorbet maker ?
I want to get one that doesn't use salt or ice and doesn't require cranking for half an hour. Suggestions of one that you like ?

ooh we have a cuisinart one. it's great. You put a water filled component in the freezer overnight and then when you're ready you put it into the machine, pour your mix in and it self-stirs for about 20 min. (it plugs in).

I've got one of the ones that works like the cuisinart described above, but goes on my KitchenAid stand mixer. It works well.

The only problem is (and this may not even be an issue for you) is that the bowl is rather large. I've got so much food in my freezer I can't fit the bowl in. (I'm going to have to take M up on her offer to let me store food in her freezer)
