Roberta knocked on the open door to make sure she wouldn't be interrupting. "Ms. Shiba?"

Kūkaku lowered the round bomb covered in colourful paper into her lap and looked past her bandaged feet toward the woman at the door. "Depends on who's askin'," she said. "You ain't from the Post Office, are ya?"

"...excuse me?" Hey, that hadn't exactly been expected. "My name is Roberta Rhodes. I'm here to talk to you about one of your students."

"Ah, good, then," said Kūkaku, nodding once for that and then a second time toward one of the chairs in front of her desk. "Come in, have a seat, which student are we talkin' about?"
