Sorry I screamed there but I can't help myself - I am so excited! ...for someone who has never even had the right to vote in the US, I am ridiculously happy. And for someone who has lived her 6 1/2 years in DC under Curious George, I feel vindicatied for the sad and cringeworthy morning of post-election day 2004 ;)
And yes, the alternative did not bear thinking about.
