As much as I support workers in struggle, I must say that I do hate it when the posties go on strike. I NEED post to keep my happy. It's like mailbox prozac for me.

Postie strike have made me wait even longer for my Ryan Adams album to arrive....damn it..I want new music...I shake my fist at the postie. But ours looks like the terminator, so I'll do it behind closed doors.

Actually I rather welcomed the brief respite ! Have been buying a fair bit on eBay/Abe/Amazon of late, as a deliberate ploy to prompt once-and-for-all clearouts of stuff I'm less interested in and which just can't compete with the quality of the new things.
