I deifinitly prefer the foggy version.. I love that the lighting on the fog not only creates the "lamp lit" feel, but it also hearkens to a sepia old time feel. Effective.

I'll have to get it loaded and show you my digital take on Saucy Jack using jerem_morrow as my base.
