I shrugged as i felt a cold brezee crepping at my body. God, why does this night have to be so cold! It’s been a while since I properly went to highschool, and I am definetely not going to be the only idol who hasn’t finished highschool properly. So I have to study really hard for the exam I’m going to have tomorrow. But God!, it’s freezing and it’s already so late in the morning!
I watched the clock that was on my desk. `11:59 p.m´ okay…it wasn’t THAT late, but still, I’ve been dancing all afternoon and my body can’t take it anymore. Besides, I don’t even know what an obtuse angle is! I don’t understand how I managed to pass maths all this years! I suck at maths as much as Jonghyun sucks at, well, everything except for singing. I think teachers passed me only because of the fact that I’m an idol.
Luckily, Jinki, our little genius offered to help me. Speaking about him, where is he? He was sitting right here besides me when suddenly I started trembling from the coldness, and then poof. I think he vanished…where could he had gone? He still has to help me!
Actually, I’m really glad he offered to help me. I remember how he flashed me a beautiful smile earlier in the afternoon while saying: “Kibummie, tomorrow is your exam, right? Well, I’ve noticed you are having some problems with maths, want me to help you study?” I answered eagerly, because at that moment, Jinki was like an angel that God had send me to make the fact that I finish high school possible.
I felt my heart skip as I notice the cute nickname Jinki used to adress me. It seems that the boy drives me crazy, making me feel so special with such small things. I think the first time he called me that was back then when I still hadn’t realized my feelings for him. That time, my face turned red as a tomato and my heart was beating so fast!!
It’s a bit embarassing to remember all this, since he only said my name, but I have an excuse for my behaivor. Earlier that day, I was walking through the sm hallways, trying to figure out why my heart beats so fast whenever I saw him, when suddenly I bumped into something and fell down, feeling ‘something’ on top of me.
I opened my eyes and realised that his lips were on top of mine. I hurriedly got up without looking at him and saying sorry. I couldn’t face him that day; I thought he might have felt disgusted or something like that. Later when were all gathered at the dance room to start practicing, he suddenly called me by “Kibummie” in such a sweet way that it made my face turn red and my heart started hammering against my chest. He told me he wasn’t upset at all by the ‘accident’ we had earlier, and only that I should be more careful when I walked.
I realised I loved him some days later. I don’t really remember how that was, but I think I woke up one day and I just knew. You know what I mean right?
Hmm..such good memories. Sadly I haven’t told him yet… I was starting to think of the best way to tell him my feelings when the door opened and the boy that didn’t let me concetrate in my studies entered, two cups of hot coffee in his hands and a blanket slung on his arm.
“Kibummie, I noticed you were freezing so I brought us some hot coffee to warm us.” He said, while placing the cups on the desk.
I was about to thank him when I felt something warm at my shoulders
“W-what are you doing?” I asked him looking anywhere but him, trying to hide the slight blush in my cheeks.
“It’s to warm you up. If you catch a cold then you wont be able to do your exam tomorrow” he said as he put the blanket around my shoulders. Gaah! Can this boy get any cuter? He is such a sweetie pie. Okay, Key, concentrate yourself and restrain your inner fangirl for a while!
“So, where were we?” His voice brought me back to reality. Fuck! I got so distracted over him that I can’t remember were we were.
“Uh-I Jinki hyung!! I can’t understand anything! It so hard! I Can’t understand how all these things entered inside of your head!” I pouted, trying to distract him from the fact that I’ve been spazzing out.
“Okay, then, let’s started it all over again” He said, giving me that breath taking smile that was like his trade mark, before he started explaining everything again. My heart couldn’t resist it. I swear it melted right then and there. I feel kind of bad, making him staying up until so late when he has schedule early in the morning. I definetely have to try my best so that all the time he is spending trying to explain it to me doesn’t go wasted. So focus, Key! Stop thinking about his oh-so drooling smile and his perfectly shapped eyes and his…KEY, GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!! CONCENTRATEEE!!
“So, Kibummie, did you understand that first part?” I widen my eyes at the unexpected question, kind of scared because I think that I hadn’t heard a thing of whatever Jinki was saying. I looked at the problem on the text book and I, somehow, remembered what Jinki said. It was so much easier when Jinki said it than when you read it from a text book. “Yes” I answered him.
“Good! Then let’s move on” Time passed by and it was already 2:00 a.m. I had understand everything so far even though there was still some problems that we still hadn’t reviced. Jinki is such a good teacher! However, I couldn’t bring myself to make my sweet boy loose sleep, so I yawned and told him I was going to bed. He said that we had just a few more problems to get through and that we should finish, but I knew that it would take me an other hour to undesrtand them fully. So I managed to drag myself to bed and the moment his head touched the pillow, he drifted off to dreamland. I knew he was extremely tired. He is such a cutie for staying up late just for me. <33
I went back to the desk to check those last problems by myself, cuz there is no fucking way I’m failing this test. I was about to start reading the heading when I found this paper with Jinki’s handwriting on it. He had written an explanation for me!! OMG! Isn’t the love of my life adorablee?! I wanted to go and give him a kiss right now! But that would disturb his sleep, and … he doesn’t love me back so he might think it’s strange….
A loud sigh scaped from my mouth when I finally decided to eyed those explanation Jinki left for me.

I woke up and realised I had fallen asleep on the desk. The house was empty. Maybe they’ve already gone to their schedules. I went to the kitchen and saw a little post-it note pasted at the fridge:
“Kibummie, there is some milk and two fried eggs for you in the fridge. Be sure to have a good breakfast before you go to your exam.
Good luck
Your love, Jinki”
That last line made my heart skip a beat. This really got me head over heels, but he didn’t meant that truly, he was just fooling around. Still, it’s pretty sweet of him to prepare breakfast for me. Well, I guess that’s how a leader should be, always there for his members.
I started eating when I saw the clock hanging at one of the kitchen walls. “FUUUCK!! I’M GOING TO BE SO FRICKING LAATE!!” I said putting as much of Jinkis delicious breakfast in my mouth before storming to the bathroom to get myself ready. I can’t be late to the MOST important exam of life. Well, perhaps not the most important one of all my life, but you get the point.
I hurried out of the house when I was ready to go to school and take my exam.
I entered the room, and there were already some other guys that were kind of amazed of seeing that such a celebrity as me was going to take the same exam they had to do. Lucky them! I sat close to some of my friends from highschool, you know, those I met before I sarted with all the idol thing. I’m glad they still act normal towards me and don’t care about the fact that I’m ‘famous’.
The teacher entered and gave us the exam. Everyone was silent, only focusing on their papers. I HAD to pass thiswith a good mark. I simply had to. There was no space for ‘failing your ultimate math exam’ in my life. Besides, I wanted to see Jinki smile when I tell him I passed. Now I only have to actually pass it.
I got through the whole exam without much problem. This is all thanks to Jinki hyung. Without his help I wouldn’t have been able to even answer the first question.

Our results came an hour later. I spent that hour chatting with my friends at the cafetteria. When I saw my result, I couldn’t believe it! I jumped and hugged the person that was nearest me, who happened to be some creep who had a crush on me ever since I debuted. He hugged me back and I didn’t mind because of the joy that was overwhelming me. I couldn’t wait to tell Jinki hyung! This day was by far just PERFECT.
Speaking of him, I suddenly felt someone strong grab on my hand, driving me away from the other boy’s embrace and dragging me to the exit of the building. He gave the boy a look that seemed to say ‘touch him again and your dead’ I couldn’t believe Jinki acctions. Was he, by any chance, jealous?? As if. He doesn’t like you back, Kibum. Remember?
I suddenly remember my good news and jumped from excitement, realising my hand from Jinki’s tight hold.
“Jinki hyung, Jinki hyung! Guess what! I scored an A+ and it was all thanks to youuu!! I said with excitement
Suddenly, he lifted my body and carried me like in those movies were the couple met after a long time and the girl kind of flies and her shoes always fall down. He said, “Aahh! Kibummie, that’s such good news! I knew you could do it” We laughed a little until I realised our current position and blushed madly as he let me down. I could swear I saw I little blush on Jinki’s face too, but I wasn’t sure cuz he rapidly turned around, grabbed my hand and started walking to the car in silence. I was way too embarassed to talk too.
We sat on the car and he put on the radio. I waited for him to start the engine and looked out of the window.
“Kibum” he suddenly called my name, and I turned around to face him, only to find his lips touching mine in a sweet tender kiss. It was so loving and all jinki-ish, just how I thought my first kiss with Jinki would be.
“Congratulations” He said, pulling away with the biggest and most beautiful smile he ever gave me.He started the engine and continued his way without any worries.
I was still dumbfounded, processing what had just happened. ‘OMG!OMG!OMG! Kim Kibum, you’ve just been kissed by the same Lee Jinki that steals your dreams.’
He stopped at a red light and looked at me again. I was still red. “How cute” he said, pinching my cheeks “This is why I love you Kibummie, truly” He said before kissing my lips again. This time I was more relaxed, as I already got used to the sudden closenes.
Like I said, this day was just PERFECT.
