- I've been sick with a nasty, nasty sinus infection that actually caused me to miss Gasparilla this weekend. In all honesty I was considering not going anyway, as I really didn't enjoy it as much last year as I have in years passed. However I didn't like having the decision made for me. I really like Fringe too. I think it could be hard for someone to get into at first so I hope that doesn't cancel it eventually.

Fringe is still doing really well ratings-wise. While it has some serial moments it apparently benefits from the fact that most episodes are self contained. The basic plotlines can be wrapped up in one hour.

I can give you a reason why Rachael Ray is annoying. Her cookbooks are not designed for people who don't have assistants and editing to make everything easy. I've done a couple of her recipes, and while they were good, they were extremely messy and hard to maintain - you have like four pots going at once and it's hard to keep everything from getting burned/cold.
