Usually they'll occur when I've been woken up suddenly from a short nap, and will be limited to an inability to comprehend language akin to that of avid drug users (turning simple phrases like "wake up" to "your computer's caught on frog, turn it ( Read more... )

lol... that is freaky ^^ That experience reminds me of how my mind sometimes works when I'm exhausted. The weirdest thing is when you keep staring at something in the room that isn't there and knowing it's not there (or knowing it's some other object in the room) and *still* not being able to force yourself to see the correct thing.

Good to hear from you again on LJ!

Who needs drugs when you have : SLEEP DEPRIVATION!!
You know you need some sleep when you look at the window latch, and it stands up and walks away. (Recounted to me by one Brad Lamkie)

GATES OF BABYLOWN'D

Weird dood. Only time I've ever hallucinated from sleep related things was in the 7th grade when I was up for 72+ hours straight. Any holes in the walls (electrical sockets especially) had smoke pouring out of them, there was a yellow bar that kept floating across my vision, and the air would have little ripples in it every so often.
