pg-13, drabble
we are two parallel lines.
1.
luhan is determined.
when he sings he sings until his voice cracks, until they turn hoarse and they hurt. when he dances he dances until his legs give out, until he's panting and his body screaming. when he works he works until he's sure he has done a good job, until there are dark circles under his eyes and his hands tremble from the amount of coffee in his system.
luhan doesn't stop. he shoots like an arrow, flying pass everything in a straight line until he hits the target (or the walls).
sehun thinks luhan is crazy, but then he's always crashing into walls too so he can't really say anything.
2.
luhan bends.
he is flexible and mendable, albeit soft and sometimes fragile. he works to fit himself in little corners, to stretch himself to cover the large floor, and to wrap himself around sharp edges so sehun doesn't hurt when he bumps into them.
there are bruises and scars and sometimes they really hurt, but luhan is mendable, and he won't break (he will not).
sehun gets mad at luhan, but then he always carry first aid kits with him so he can't really say anything
3.
luhan loves.
it's easy for luhan to love. he breathes and he loves; he smiles and he loves; he laughs and he loves. he loves the little things in life but at the same time he loves the big pictures too. he loves with big warm hugs and soft fingers entwining. he loves with his life and he loves a lot.
he loves sehun,
but at the same time he doesn't love sehun (he cannot).
sehun feels betrayed because he loves luhan, but then at the same time he doesn't love luhan so he can't really say anything.
(because he cannot).

sehun is not like luhan.
he's afraid, he's breakable, and he doesn't love.
he doesn't love how luhan works too hard, because he knows he can't make luhan feel better. he doesn't love the way luhan shelters him, because he knows he can't take the pain away. he doesn't love the way luhan loves him, because luhan doesn't, because he cannot.
(because he knows that is all he is ever going to have and he can't really say anything).
