My mom and I recently went to the Chicago Botanic Garden. She wanted to find out what was going on with the tree in front of our house -- it'll probably die within a year -- and parking there costs money, so I came along and we had a good time

but that is a beautiful picture. where did you put the orchids? and aren't they a lot of work?

We put them in a bunch of wide containers we had and put all the containers together. We took a picture of that, but it hasn't been developed yet. They looked really neat.
Well, I'd think growing them is harder than just sticking them in water and we did the latter. They're cool. We threw most of them out a couple days ago because my mom didn't wanna change the water on ALL of them. There's 3 left right here. In a much smaller container indeed.

hahah, i suppose i must be thinking the same way (being productive? hmm, posting on lj is being productive!) but i'm not actually posting that much, so post my twitter updates to my lj everyday (my post count goes up, i feel good. :D)

I have no idea what species. Our orchid fairy didn't say (that's what we're calling her, xD ). My mom's into flowers, too, but she didn't mention it. I'll ask her sometime and if she knows, I'll try to get back to you.
I just have to figure out my priorities. Then when those get done, I suppose I'm being productive. I was feeling odd that day. Blogging is talking to people and talking is a GOOD thing to do, so it should be one of my priorities.
