OMG why didn't someone tell me that this crappy show was on sooner?!?!? I remember watching this damn thing all of the time, no doubt with contempt and morbid curiousity (like now), but still...!

Did you ever see the original Peewee Herman live show that was broadcast on HBO before he made the television series? I remember thinking it was hilarious at the time. Demented, but hilarious.

YES!!!! OMG YOU ARE THE ONLY OTHER PERSON WHO I HAVE MET THAT HAS SEEN THIS!!!
My dad let me see it (he probably shouldn't have) but it was fucking hilarious!!! He made this woman named JOAN strip by hypnotizing her with his little therapist doll. I am not sure if you ever met Joan who worked at B&N but I used to tease her and say, "JOOOOOANNNN! IT'S GETTING HOT IN HERE, JOOOOOAAAN!" LMFAO!!!!
