I saw a thing that reminded me of another thing that led me to ask the question...

Have you ever wondered why some people pretend to be deeper or more complicated than they really are?  There are a couple of people who I've known during my life that seem to always have some sort of issue or problem that required any and everyone around them to feel obligated to comfort them or help them. In actuality, there was nothing so ( Read more... )

No, wait. I have more to say on this topic:

Just look at reality TV which, by the way, is totally causing the downfall of our civilization. The morons on the shows are encouraged to start all the drama they can and then the people who it think that's the way life is supposed to be. It's so absolutely teenage and tedious. Grow the fuck up! People like that make my BRAIN HURT.

I call those sorts of people energy leeches. It's like they feed off of the attenension and drama they create. They need a group of people around them to continually feed off of, and when you stop giving them the attension they want, they usually stop wanting to hang out with you./

I've had allot of these peoples in my life. Someone was always in jail, afraid they were going to jail, pretending to be pregnate, cheating on someone for no reason other than to creat conflict and just making shit up all the time.

I don't hang out with those peeps anymore.

I don't hang out with these people any more either. I mean come on!

Sometimes I feel like people may think this about me b/c I have so many health issues, but the fact of the matter is:
I'm a fucking medical freak show!

I know exactly what you mean. I have a friend whose life is nothing but drama. Anytime I hang out with him his latest woes (why don’t women like me, why did I have a bad child hood, why does everything go bad in my life) completely dominate all forms of conversation we have. The funny thing is he doesn’t think he has any drama. If that is not bad enough he complains about how everybody around him creates drama in there life to make themselves fell more important!

I had to learn to distance myself because he was completely taking over my life. I hate to leave friends behind like that but I try to live a stress and drama free life and he was really taking over every aspect of my life with his drama that he brings upon himself.

That's what you have to do...distance yourself. Sometimes you just have to walk away.
