Is there a particular word that you hate, or irritates you?

PANTIES

I hate this word!!! It is something that a little kid or a pervert would say. Grown people should not call women's underwear panties. It just creeps me out.

delicious. and mucous. those words make me heave a little on the inside; my ex also used to put a stop to arguments occasionally by yelling "DELICIOUS MUCOUS! DELICIOUS MUCOUS!" at me, knowing full well it would cause me to put my fingers in my ears and run away.

also, panties isn't troublesome for me to hear, specifically, unless it's attempted in a naughty context. then it's just bad. But, I'll NEVER say the word myself, no matter WHAT the context; I refer to those underlayer-type butt-covering things either as underpants or underpinnings, the end.

Hippie.

Because it means absolutely NOTHING. It has been distorted to the point that it refers to everything from somebody who has left-wing leanings to somebody who smokes pot, or even just wears tie-dye. Or doesn't shave.

But even worse is the word "nigger." It doesn't matter who uses the word, it just makes me irate when I hear it.
