My Kakashi is pretty blunt about most things, unless he's purposely being annoyingly vague. ^^;; Don't worry about Sakura, though. She'll get a bit of her own back in the next part.
The show they made of them in the last 24 hours was embarrassing.
I think you mean "The show they made of themselves in the last 24 hours was embarrassing."
Somehow, I think the world is a sad place when Kakashi is in charge. Not to say that he isn't, because he totally suits it, it's just that he doesn't like to be.
I like this bit: Tsunade hadn’t been fluent in too-cool-twelve-year-old-boy for a while, but she was pretty sure that translated into human as “she could get hurt.”
Although the fangirl in me is sad to say that you've got Kakashi's assessment spot on: at this stage, she is useless, it's nice to see them IC. I wonder if she'll still end up training with Tsunade?
Brilliant beginning sentence - it really caught my attention, by the way.
*sheepish* I actually meant 'them' as in 'the skills,' but 'themselves' works just as well there. I'll edit.
I think it'll be good for Kakashi to be a leader, however reluctantly. He's got so much baggage about people he cares about that I think actually having to train team 7 can only be positive. It'll give him some experience for when Tsunade tries to pass on hokageship, too. I don't know why Konoha thinks he'll be a good leader in canon. The last time he tried, one of his students defected and the other two got different mentors.
Don't worry about Sakura. At this stage, she really isn't that strong, but that will change as the story progresses. The fangirl in me absolutely refuses to do her such a disservice. XD
Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^_^
