Excellent structure, intriguing medical mystery, charming and true-to-character dialogue, and meddling Wilson; this story is a winner all around! House's stumbling and sincerely ziz-zaggy wooing of Cuddy was utterly delicious. I look forward to more House/Cuddy fiction from you in the future.

Wow I am amazed this is only your first House fic as you've got everyone's voice down - I mean everyone sounded IN character and I could not only hear them saying the words as they would but see their expressions too as they said them!

And the fact you can nail a differential so in character is amazing as I'm sure they're not that easy to write but I felt like I was sitting here "watching" one of the show's differential scenes.

The ending was perfect with House finally kissing Cuddy and Wilson making a complete dork of himself by accidentially blowing the horn. And gee I should have figured he was behind the brochure on House's desk since he can be quite sneaky when he wants to be.

Anyway congrats on a great first fanfic!

I was terrified to even try my hand at writing House fanfic because I revere the writers on the show so much, and the characters are so well-drawn and fleshed-out that I felt writing IC dialogue would be a true challenge. I'm so, so thrilled that my characterizations worked for you!
