I secretly want to be a tool for the University. I guess perhaps I shouldn't send them nasty-grams, huh? Actually, I think I want my picture in a brochure. I too can be the wholesome WASP student sitting on the quad thinking about chemistry (or, er, the chemistry between me and some cute frat boy). But all the same!

Dear Emily

Why does the U of R attract such wimps?

Love always,
Bits

Actually, if they arrive via airport we will have a friendly volunteer greeting them, plus directions to a taxi/car rental place if they haven't already made arrangements. If they arrive via other means, they're kind of on their own. I guess I can stick some mapy/phoney type things at the bus station and train station explaining how their move in procedure is a bit special and different, but it won't be anything special. We're not shuttling this year, the website says so. I also feel like I'll put something up them encouraging them to use the message boards to double up with others so as to cut costs on getting said taxis.

Also... way to make an impact on the kiddies. :)

And thanks for the mad props. This is me reciprocating them.

Dear Emily,

I had an incredibly kick-ass comment for you, but it was deleted while posting, so now I have a kick-ass excuse rant.

In short: wimps, I'll update website, some stuff is on there, I'll look into extra info stuff for non-airport kids (who already have a friendly volunteer), you are incredibly awesome, way to make an impact on the kiddies, thanks for the mad props, and you deserve equal if not more, just for being, well, you.

Well, now you have THREE comments by Bits. Doesn't that just leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling?

I feel so warm and fuzzy. Can I bottle it until winter, when I need it? ;-)
