Well, our sports book will be the 6th book we've read in the club, and I wanted to get your impressions of the club so far. I've been having fun, but I want to make sure you all are as well

As a non-active member, I will only offer my opinion on membership, and that is to keep it open. Unlike showing up at someone's house, an electronic community is easy to come and go from. That's a strength.
I think that the voting is great the way its set up. It gives us many other titles to choose from if we decide that we do in fact like that genre, we have a list to go back to that others have suggested.
I think that posting a new question everyother day could be a good idea. It's more likely that we would discuss a topic deeply if we have more questions asked about it. And it will offer someone who doesn't usually comment that much a broad range of topics to discuss.
I dont think we should cap membership just yet though. I think if our numbers get crazy out of control we should, but for now I'd say we're fine.
I like the voting format. In addition to the previous comment about looking up books in the same genre, it also leads me to books that I didn't know about to suggest myself.
The questions part is hard. At first there were too many, and now it seems the discussion tapers off the further apart the questions are. One every other day still seems like too many for me, but, hey, if you're up to it, I'm not going to argue.
Keep membership open. If nothing else, you're encouraging people to read books outside their comfort genre.
I like the voting format. I think membership should stay open--the more members the more varied the discussion will be, I think.
Also, I agree with the above poster who said to post question regularly. I don't know if you'd need to get a co-mod to post questions that frequently, or just encourage other members.
Hi everyone. I like the current voting format. The survey is very user-friendly. It's find to post a question every other day. If I forget to check out the site one day, I'll catch up the next. I don't think we need a cap on membership. I doubt membership will become overwhelming, and who wants to deny anyone the chance to read something they haven't read before? :-)
