I'd like to try to read both. I've had The Mists of Avalon for years and never read it (well, I tried once and quit before I got very far). Book club will be a good motivator :)

I think I will be skipping both of these. The Civil War book just doesn't sound awfully appealing from the review snippets I've read and I assume people here haven't heard about the latest MZB controversy - it's pretty bad... link1, link2. Not really in the mood to read one of her books right now...maybe ever.

Oh god wtf @ MZB! I had no idea. Never did make it all the way through Mists, the levels of dysfunction in that book were too much.
