I've been keeping an eye on this for a couple of months and I have to say that I laughed out loud when I saw how many people didn't want any Twilight characters! Personally, I think some of the choices here are a little... well, similar. There are quite a lot of 'dark horse' males in this, and while I can appreciate that the 'dark horse' archetype is 'in', it would still be nice to see someone quirky, like Michael Moscowicz from The Princess Diaries! Or something from a completely different genre (so not romance), like Touchstone from Sabriel.

Just a thought :)

Michael and Touchstone were both nominated in the preliminaries, along with over 300 other characters. They did not get enough votes to be in the Final 24 this round. Michael was, sadly, #25 (and he's my favorite, too -- but I'd say he's also the dark-haired dark horse, he just happened to win!)
