I'm going to get my purple cane!!! Yepyepyepyep! After all my storming around last week I remembered Technical Aid for the Disabled, a non-profit that adapts and creates assitive technology for PWDs that doesn't already exist. Contacted them, and even though it's just a cosmetic thing rather than a functional necessity, they've agreed to do it

Hurrah for purple! I have an ice-blue one - did I tell you that already? Stumbled across it at an online store one day. The colour cheers me up when I'm struggling around. :)
