While I was resting in my room, he managed to break out by enlarging a small hole in the window screen - clearly, he's a smart kitty! I quickly ran outside when I discovered he was missing, and I saw him sitting on the roof, but he wouldn't come down when I called, and ( Read more... )

That's so cute about the stray. I hope they can find a home for her!

I like your new layout. What is the picture from?

I hope someone can find a home for her, too. I'm almost tempted to take her in, but I don't think I can really afford a second kitty right now.

Thanks! The layout was made by scholarslayouts, and the header is from Drew Barrymore's "Beauty and the Beast" themed photo-shoot for Vogue. I just got myself a paid account with my new credit card, so I decided to try a new layout in honor of the occasion ^__^

Awe, poor homeless kitty. D: I hope you can find her a nice home with people who give her lots of love and keep her healthy. I'm hopeless around strays, cats or dogs. Glad your kitty came back home none the worse for wear.

Strays do tug at the heart strings, don't they? I can easily understand how someone could make a habit of rescuing strays, like my downstairs neighbours have. I think they have three rescued cats, and they've found homes for many more. Hopefully, one of the animal rescue organizations here in Hamilton will be able to find a home for Chester's friend.
