When the Snare's away, the parents will have a really productive weekend

Last Thursday we delivered Aa to his grandparents, who then took him on to North Carolina for phragmites' family's annual Beach Week. Last year's Beach Week was his first time spending the night without his parents: he went up a few days before us. Why can't the baby be in a fenced in area outside while you work?

Well, the back yard is fenced, and if/when we get around to touching that, it's a possibility...but it would still really end up being one of us riding herd on him while the other works, what with the sharp tools and the thorns and the wanting to be in the middle of everything and such.

No, a smaller fenced in area, like a playpen. They sell them on the internet for both dogs and children. You can get the kind that embeds into the grass or dirt, or a portable one.
