What a unique twist. The idea that people who say they "believe" in science also being of the mind that it can never be wrong is an interesting bit of satire on the nature of the human condition.
I like the approach here, both for the narrator describing an unlikely event and for how these bizarre beliefs (giant Space Worm!) are attributed to a steadfast belief in Science when many of the subrthyms/musical motifs are anything but.
Parts of this are beautiful. I like the first mention of erasers being banned. It's very clever, and fits in with the whole universe you've created.
I really enjoy the repetition of the word worm in the first few sentences, each definition being expanded slightly and drawing the reader into the tale. Also, the schoolyard humour!

OMG. You win at everything. I haven't even finished reading this entry yet, but I think I have to vote for it on the strength of that one line alone.
