It's like losing a family member, isn't it? Sometimes I'm tempted to go to the parts shop in Voorheesville where my '84 Volvo is rusting and pay tribute to the best first car I'll ever have.
But there also comes a time to move on. Maybe if you look, you can find a car who won't ask you to be so forgiving all the time.

Maybe. Reliable transportation would be great, as I'm going on almost a year of driving junkers and my AAA towing allowance is almost gone poof. Unfortunately a less needy car probably also comes with car payments.
No, believe it or not... this was the 'backup' car that I've been using while the other one (which still keeps mysteriously breaking in the exact same way everytime it's fixed) is off the road.

I had an '81 Grand Marquis (de Sade) that I thought would live forever too. I miss that banana boat pimp mobile and it's horrible alignment

Plan B finally got approved. Without a prescription!
Huh, maybe that's what you need: have you had a working vehicle prescribed for you?

Do as you wish. Note, I shy away from not content. I am not a prude.
