Well, I think you might be right this time. The more I think about it the more obvious it seems. Until 3x13 it could have been pretty much anyone, but after the last episode we have tons of evidence pointing towards Katherine.

The murderer is somebody who:

1. has Elena's fingerprints

2. the victims mysteriously can't remember

3. has access to the Gilbert house

4. is not Meredith (alibi: surgery), the Salvatores (alibi: dinner) the Originals (alibi: dinner), Caroline (alibi: with dying dad), Elena (alibi: with Caroline). All of these people were occupied during the time of Alaric's death.

I hadn't even thought about the "access to the Glibert house" bit. But I am still starting to think that maybe it's a red herring and a way for the show to introduce something even crazier.

LOL, I cannot agree about Damon's cranberry sweater. Not my favourite wardrobe choice! Or maybe I'm just weirded out by him wearing colour…

mte, mte. If anything, I will enjoy watching Elena/Matt and Damon/Elena scenes side by side and… yeah. (lol, I am so mean to poor Zach Roerig.)

For better or for worse, Elena is Jeremy's parent and has to make decisions regarding his protection… Caroline forcing her dad to turn and live a life he detests because she's not ready to lose him would be selfish on her end. I HAVE SAID MY PIECE).

WHAT YOU SAID. I really have no problem with Elena saying what she said.
