I hate writer's block...

I can't figure it out.I'm having such a hard time writing right now. I have the rest of Fire and Ice planned out, but when I sit down to write, the words just aren't there--or, I just can't pull them out of me.
Any ideas, help, or words of wisdom?

I have the same problem. I have all these ideas and I can write whole stories in my head but when it comes to translating it down to paper, it just doesn't work.

I am sure something will come to you soon. Hey I was able to write a couple of short one shots and I don't normally write in this fandom.

So if I can do that I am sure you can do it too.

..i'm not a writer, but i've heard, like when you have to do a report for school, for example......stand on something above eye level; on a box, on a chair, on a table, the roof of the house....anything that makes you look at things in a different way........

No advice or wisdom from me, just a note that it's okay to step away temporarily if you're getting frustrated.

...a L-O-N-G one! Weed the garden. Roam about in a flea market... sleep late. It's been my experience that these and similar activities makes the Muse very jealous and she's forced to talk to you when you do sit down to write.

Just a thought.

I'm no expert by any means (only done 2 one shots so far!) but it was hard for me to take that first plunge. I found that listening to some great pumping tunes had ideas coming from all angles and I just had to write stuff down! I tried to channel the emotions that the songs generated into what Jack and Ennis might be feeling. I always find music inspiring and it certainly worked for me! I'm writing my 3rd fic as I speak, er type!
