 Hi all.

So my laptop died. I took it in to be repaired and they called two days ago and said I lost my whole hard drive. Everything is gone--OWL, F&I, Return to Home, one-shots, pictures....gone. I had them re-install a new hard drive and he said he would try to recover the data. He was able to recover everything...in our son's folder. All of mine

(((Carol))) Just wanted to pass on some hugs as this sounds like a bitch of an unsatisfactory situation. The best I was going to offer you was going to Staples and photocopying all your work which I have printed and filed for easy reading - I never keep fan fic on my computer - way too much of it!! But it sounds like you are all set with people here who have your work saved and can send it to you (YAY)!!!!

Hang in there...worse things could happen (but this is no fun at all I'm sure).

Missing F&I but completely understand! Hope you're doing okay otherwise. Until next time...xoxo

Sorry to hear about the computer trouble - I think I would go insane if I lost all my stuff.

This PC trouble really sucks ! I hope you will be able to get back everything you need, it would be such a loss not to ! Has your friend/computer god been able to help you ? Did any of your friends here sent you any stories by e-mail ? If not, I have OWL and up to date FAI saved as Word Doc on my memory stick, I can send them to you as soon as you say so.
