Hello Everyone!

I hope all the Americans are enjoying their Thanksgiving weekend, and everyone else is...well, enjoying their regular weekend. :)

Heidi and I made dinner for the kids yesterday, and we were joined by her oldest son's girlfriend, who is just a lovely young woman, and always a joy to have around. Lots of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, yams ( Read more... )

Holy shit!

Sue is just a malevolent force not worthy of bothering to interact with as a person. She isn't worth the saliva it would take to spit on her.

Mike, however, needs his ass shredded and handed to him for being a piss-poor excuse for a friend and enabling an asshole, making himself an asshole by association. Go get 'im, gal!

Love,
Jackie

"She isn't worth the saliva it would take to spit on her." I looooove that! You made me laugh, girl, and I appreciate it.
You're right about Mike, too. I'm really disappointed in him. And when I went to him about the way she was treating me, all I got was, "Well, don't worry about it. She's just that way. She's like my mom, and I can't say no to my mom." Ummmm.....wtf? That's your way of resolving the problem?
Anyway, thanks for the support. It really sucks b'c I truly, for the first time in thirty years of working, REALLY loved my job. And now it's gone. :(((((
Thanks again, darlin'.

Thanks, Ramona. Yeah, legally I can't do anything about it. I am, however, meeting with Mike this next week to talk about all this.
And it will get better, I know it. Hope you had a great holiday.

I wish you good luck in your fight to win back your rights. 'Sue' sounds like a very sick and possibly dangerous person. Please be careful around her.
Hugs. Carole

Yeah, Sue is very scary. And yet she's allowed to run roughshod over everyone, including Mike. I have never understood that kind of behavior, and I can even less understand why it's tolerated. But as I told Carole, I am meeting with MIke this week to discuss her, and I really would like the owner to be there too, or to meet with him separately.
I'll post if anything good happens.

Hi! So sorry to hear about your getting laid off at work. That's really rough. And on top of that, drama. Drama at work is never good; I've seen all kinds of that myself and no, it's not fun. I hope it all gets rectified for you.

This is so ironic that I see this message from you to everyone - how kind to offer a Happy Thanksgiving. It's ironic because I am right now in the midst of re-reading Fire & Ice. I started last night. Gah, I LOVE this story. It is so different. Of course, I love AU!AU's but this one is really different being set in the world of hockey, which I know hardly anything about, but who cares?! It's Jack & Ennis, for gosh sakes. Anyway, I appreciate & love your story. I also loved OWL and it's been a while since I read that one so maybe that one will be next as I re-visit some of my old favorites.

LOL. I'm glad you liked Fire and Ice and OWL. F&I has a very special place in my heart. I hope you get interested in hockey--there are some very sexy men playing the game! Plus the action is non-stop and can be very exciting.
Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your job. (It sounded majorly cool, so naturally you get f'ed over.) Mike is no friend, even if he gave a damned good imitation of being a friend for so long, and I'd ditch him.

As for Sue, she's a sorry pretense for a human being. Just remember that karmic payback is a bitch, and eventually she'll get hers. [Not sure if that's very helpful now, though.]
