Apartment hunting
Randy and I found a great apartment today. It's got lots of wall space for bookcases, central air, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a great walk in closet in our room, parking for two cars, a pool, and it's right across the street from a park.
We put in our application and a holding fee. I hope we get it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. -
Back ups
Does anyone know of a tool that will back up your LJ *and* comments? I know LJ has a tool to back up your LJ, but it evidently doesn't include comments. -

Keeping a clear vision
It's obvious that this is a year of big changes for me. Bernie and I are getting a divorce. Mabon_grey and I are moving in to a new place together. I'm planning on changing my job. A hard day
Today was a hard day. Bernie and I had to tell Michael that we were getting a divorce. After the first hour of being angry and hating us, he finally went back to, "I kind of love you". Friday the 13th
The only reason I noticed that it's Friday the 13th, is because it's my last day of vacation. Bummer. I didn't get everything done that I'd planned on doing, but I did get some stuff done.

Wow, I just got a cool phone call. I'd interviewed with a call center/web design business a couple of months ago, but had to turn them down because the commute was too far. I miss digging in the earth
One of the things that I've really missed over the past few years is having my own little garden. When I say "little" I really do mean little. 2 feet wide by 8 feet long is about perfect. Trulia
Trulia is a search engine for real estate. Basically, it's like a combination of all the listings of "for sale" properties and Google maps. I love it. I just wish they had something for finding rental properties. I know about Google Housing, which *does* include a rent feature, but it's still so new, it's not even in beta yet, and its pickings are ( Read more... )
