Last weekend, I came out of the fanfic closet to my sister. She already knows I'm amazingly geeky, and her response when I told her I was writing BSC fanfic was "That is so much cooler then role playing games

I know! So many of the best writers fill out the rest of the world, but I don't think my sister remembers enough to throw her into that right off. (If she likes the fanfic I recommend, I might rec more in depth stuff with notes reminding her about family situations and who minor character are.)

Crossposting is a great idea. I think I'll do that.

My sister and I squee over nostalgia stuff all the time, but I doubt she'll ever get into fandom. She's a very busy person. But it would make times when we get together more fun if we could talk about a new fanfic we read!

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but she might also enjoy this, if you think she remembers the basics about the sitters. It is one of my favorites. ♥

Anyway, this is tough! I'll think on it, too, and see if I can come up with anything that fits your criteria.
