I agree, House of Night is just...blargh. I do enjoy the Vampire Academy series. Sometimes the narrator can be annoying, but I love all the supporting characters.

:) My friend LOVES the Vampire Academy series. SOOOO ashamed of it though... could have something to do with the fact that he's an almost thirty year old man. I had to sneak the last one for him! lol.

I can't deny I lust for several boys in those books. I'm not sure which one I like the most, actually. I've only read the first three books; I keep waiting for the paperback editions.
