Day 06 - Favorite book of your favorite series OR your favorite book of all time

Favorite book of favorite series... We'll I can't chose between the very first book or the very last book of either The Lord of the Rings or the Harry Potter series. On one hand, I love that feeling of starting them again but I also get a lot of enjoyment out of reading the last ones because I know it's about to end but I don't want it to. The strangest feeling to me is finishing the last book of a series I love for the first time. I always feel a little lost that that's all there's going to be and I'll never experience it for the first time ever again. :( Now I'm sad...

*ignores OR*

Favorite book of all time: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

Day 07 - Least favorite plot device employed by way too many books you actually enjoyed otherwise

Hmm, since psychedeliceyes mentioned Absentee Parents I'll chose a different one...

I'd have to go with the male/female, male/male, female/female leads falling ABSOLUTELY STAR-CROSSED IN LOVE though they've BARELY gotten to know each other. Call me old fashioned but I like my True Love to happen over at time in which said lovers have time to get to know eachothers personalities. That said, some of my favorite books have this going on in them... so yea... there it is...
