If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your journal and be surprised (or mortified) about ( Read more... )

We decided that anything had to be better than this life, so when the circus came to town, we joined up and left town with them. The only problem was that we didn't really have any special skills and didn't fit in anywhere. After several months of cleaning up after the animals and doing everyone's laundry, we were ready to quit. On the night before we were supposed to leave, you got really drunk and opened up the lion's cage. I screamed at you to stop, but the lions didn't rip you apart like I thought they would. They just walked up to you and licked your face. Everyone was amazed. The old lion tamer was fired on the spot and you became the new one. You performed in the next show and wowed the crowds with your extraordinary taming skills. Soon you became known all over the country as the Master Lion Tamer.
I never quite found my place at the circus. So, a year later I packed my things and left. But being in the circus with you was still some of the best fun I've ever had.

i remember visiting new york, in august, because i wanted to. i was left alone to go shopping, though the streets alternated between residential and commercial, so there wasn't always a lot of shopping to do.

i found you, after a series of text messages.

i thought it would be a pleasant hello.

instead, you threw my stuff back at me and walked away with those girls.

new york was very grey for august.

remember that one time when we drank cherry sodas sitting in the Kash n Karry parking lot off US41, sitting with my pastel pink boom box, which was blaring 60s girl group pop hits? that was so much fun! dude, we were soooo stoned...
