Giles stood in front of the mirror as Xander pinned a flower on the front of his tuxedo. He was starting to get nervous and the fact that the ghosts had been coming in and out of the room, throwing random things at them, wasn't helping. When Xander was finished with the flower, Giles stopped back and looking into the mirror. "Thank you, Xander," he said before he pinched the bridge of his nose

Fred bit her lip a bit to keep from laughing at Rupert's eagerness to get to the end of the ceremony. She squeezed his hands in hers as she looked around the room at everyone there - his parents, her parents, Willow, Charlotte, Andrew, Xander. The Registrar was standing to the side of the priest, holding the book with the marriage certificate and overseeing everything.
"Buffy and Dawn didn't make it?" she asked softly.
"Actually," a voice came from the hallway, "we--ow!"
Everyone turned to see Buffy and Dawn hurrying into the room, ducking and covering their heads as some of the decorations that had been in the dining room flew at them. But as soon as they passed through the door, it was as if there was an invisible force field that the flying objects bounced off of harmlessly. Molly ran over and barked a few times but didn't go out into the hall. Once they were safe, the two sisters straightened up and looked behind them before turning to everyone else.
"I take it that was the reason for the sudden change in plans to a night

Giles smiled when Buffy and Dawn showed up. He knew they had wanted to be there to witness his marriage to Fred. Once everyone was seated, the priest started the ceremony. Giles tried his best to listen but with Fred standing in front of him, looking so beautiful. He gave her a lopsided smile just as the priest cleared his throat again.
"Rupert?" he said. Giles blinked and looked over at him. "I asked you a question."
"Oh, uh, pardon me. My mind was elsewhere," Giles said as he heard a few of the guests giggle. Xander leaned forward and whispered in Giles' ear what he should say. "Oh, yes, I do. I really do. I was just looking at my beautiful wife-to-be and my mind wandered a bit to all the wonderful years we're going to spend together. I love you, Fred."
"Awww," Buffy, Dawn and Willow all said at the same time. Giles blushed and looked down at the floor.
The priest nodded and looked over at Fred. "Do you plan on adding anything extra or can I get one with the ceremony?" He asked with a warm smile.
A smile spread over Fred's face at Rupert's words, and she felt her cheeks warm. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to be standing there with this wonderful man. She was looking forward to spending many years together with him as well

“Need and want you too, love,” Giles rasped against her neck. He knew if he didn’t get his trousers all the way off, he was going to pass out from the pain and want. He pushed himself off the bed and quickly disposed of his clothes. Giles then kneeled on the bed and slowly ran his hands up her thighs and under the silky material of her negligee. He pushed it up and over her hips and then pulled it over her head

Lying on the bed after he took the negligee off her, Fred felt a shudder run though her when Rupert's hand ran up her sides to her breasts. The way he touched her made her want him even more

The more Giles pushed into Fred, the tighter she became. He felt his eyes flutter closed as he pressed his forehead against her shoulder. There had been a time when he imagined what it would be like to make love to his wife but that thought had been lost after he’d lost Jenny in Sunnydale. Now he was married and making love to his wife and he couldn’t be any happier

When she felt Rupert nuzzle her nose, she opened her eyes, smiling as she looked up into his, still wrapped around him. She wanted to hold him close for as long as she could, keep him pressed to her, but then the phone rang, and he had to pull away

Giles agreed with what Fred said; they weren’t there to discuss their personal lives but he still couldn’t help but to smirk at the confused look on Angel’s face. He was pondering if he had to draw the vampire a picture when Angel slid a folder over to him

Fred looked over at Rupert in surprise when he suddenly went off on Angel. She knew that he had problems with him and didn't like him much, but she had hoped that he would at least be civil, especially given the reason they were there. Shifting in her seat, she saw Charles suddenly shoot up out of his seat when Rupert told Angel to sit down and told them they would take care of Dana themselves

When Gunn laid in on Fred, Giles turned toward him to tell him to shut his mouth, but before he could get a word out, Fred was defending herself. He sat there and listened to Gunn threaten them with an injunction. Giles balled his fists up, ready to strike back but didn’t have the chance to since Gunn left the room.
“The Council will mop the floor with you, Angel so I suggest you call off your newest lap dog because if he files an injunction, then your unlife will be over, understood?” Giles asked as he looked over at Angel. “And I’ve noticed you haven’t sat down yet.”
“Why does the Council have to have their noses into everything? I only called you here to help capture her and bring her in so Wolfram and Hart can help her,” Angel said with a small scowl. He started to walk toward the door but Giles quickly stood and grabbed Angel before pushing him against the wall.
“You will not take the Slayer. You will not capture her for she’s not a wild animal,” Giles hissed at Angel. The vampire quickly pulled away and went to the

Fred found herself cringing when Rupert and Angel continued to fight - she knew she hadn't helped things with her reaction to Charles, but she still didn't like this. These people had been her friends, no matter where they were working now. And she had never seen Rupert acting this way before, especially when he grabbed Angel and pushed him against the wall

Giles had no problems getting Rutherford into one of the empty offices. He looked at the other man for a moment, trying hard not to laugh at the look on his face. "Thought you could hide here, eh Sirk?" Giles asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. "The Council's been looking for you, and those books you took from us

"I'm fi--," Fred started to tell Rupert when he hurried up to her in the hall, but was cut off by Charles coming out of the lab. She moved closer to her husband when her former friend offered for them to stay at the firm's hotel, glad to feel his hand slip into hers.
"You really don't need to," Charles pressed. "Our hotel is the best in the entire city. Probably the entire country."
And no doubt crawling with demons and vampires and every other sort of evil that they represented here, she thought, looking up at Rupert for a moment. The fact that Charles was referring to it as ours and not the firm's sent a shiver down her spine. So much was wrong here. And it hurt to see that her friends had been caught up in all this - that they actually believed that what they were doing was right, that this place was right

Giles wanted to turn around and punch Gunn as he continued to follow them through the firm. Didn’t he understand the word no? When they got to the front desk, he groaned when he saw Harmony. Giles did his best to ignore the vampire as he picked up his bags and went to the elevator with Spike

When Rupert bent down to look through their bags, she saw him pause for just a moment when he checked the side pocket of hers. Even without him saying anything - and she knew that he wasn't because he was hoping that she hadn't noticed - she knew that he had found a bug, just like Spike had warned about. Closing her eyes for a minute, she swallowed against the painful knot that suddenly formed in her throat
