Smile, you're reading terrible poetry

What time is it?
Quarter past too soon,
The hands clap,
Where do I go?
Halfway there
To stop and stare,
Am I lost? Or simply,
Forgetting that I never was?
Then that sweet sound
That beats from beneath
The soft ground,
And I smile
