yes everything is empty. we keep working towards a goal and for what reason? to occupy time until we die? probably to give purpose. purpose is empty at the end of the day. what makes the man?
if you are some sort of illusion of a man, i never want to wake up.
well love ya.
btw could you email me that poem i wrote you? thanks hun.
If all things are empty, then the concept love is empty as well, but like all other things(concepts, feelings, identities, words, etc.)we fill them with meanings that aren't necessarily inherent in them and then we distinguish things by the meanings we've attached, but this doesn't make these meanings less real, it just illustrates our human ability to ignore variability, for even in discussing love, different people attribute different meanings to the word, the feeling, and the expression of, so though it may be empty, don't we all speak of, feel, and express love?
i just dropped in to comment on the poem and say that i really liked it joe, but it looks like things are getting a little too philosophical for my lamen ass over here, so i'm just going to show myself the door... or send button...
Hey Mikey, glad you enjoyed the poem, but your ass isn't as laymen as you give yourself credit for(wow, that sounds a lot more homosexual when i read it, ha ha, sorry), i'm sure if you wanted to you could provide some thought provoking insights, you usually do, well for me anyways, i always liked that about you, anyways hope the music is still treating you well and thank you for reiterating the scent of summer that intoxicates us all
