I think that sometimes our generation in the west feels so guilty about how fortunate we are that we feel an urge to "look out" for other people (and often in other countries). There is often more than one side to a story and, as you state, it's hard to know which side you should believe. Nicky, to steal an old cliche, you never cease to amaze me. You're thoughts are not crazy at all and what you said is exactly what I was getting at(you definitely just stated it more clearly). You're right about it not necessarily being a "good side" or a "bad side," but we do have to make choices, its just harder to do when they fall in the "gray"(which is pretty much everything), yet are slanted to a "black" or "white" angle(which is pretty much everything). It is really hard to find that "middle ground" when everyone thinks they're right, even though, like you said, there may actually be nothing that is right, or wrong, for that matter.

If it gives jobs to people,
& those people are treated and paid well.
then why not?

Sweatshops are beneficial because they provide jobs for the poor.
lol I'm kidding and being sarcastic.
But alot of people agree with that.

But, EVERYTHING IS FOR PROFIT. tis true.
It would be stupid to think Barrick is 100% good.
Someone has to take a piece of the pie.
Sad but true.

I love you and your big brain.
Keep on, keep on.
