I had made this comment before to Ty, and just within the last hour to Nicky: that I was disappointed with the university process. I felt I was not being challenged enough. I mean I was studying for exams and writing essays, sometimes 4-5 days late, hours before they were due, and still was pulling off A's and B's. I even uttered that university ( Read more... )

The government is actually funding the process of having mandatory components to your program that you HAVE to know before you graduate. Anyways, if you don't understand what I mean I'll tell you on the phone later tonight.

Hunny you're really smart. If the system was really that bad I'd be pulling off A's like you. You just underestimate yourself all the time. You just always want to be challenged. That's why you're with me right?

Well i don't think the system is bad, except for the financing aspect. I just felt i wasn't putting enough of myself into the work. So to me, an A with little to no effort is less meaningful than a C where boundries were pushed. Its about development, not end results. Thanks for the kind words, love you sugar

wow bro, pulling off As without putting in the effort. I would stand in amazement, until I realized that your post was more a reflection of the system than inane brilliance. Or maybe it is...(on a subconscious level?)

Nevertheless if, at the university level you do not feel challenged, why not embark upon courses you otherwise have no idea about? It may challenge you to think along different patterns. Obviously I am not encouraging you to sign up for final-year advanced courses in bio-chemistry (unless that's your thing, then think opposite fine arts). I recently went into a class called 'the philosophy of logic' and it made me realize how stupid I really am. Man, without politics I'm nothing to this economy. Who knows, just take a course you know you have no clue about. It may challenge you in ways you never expected.
