I loaned my 'nightstand book' to a friend. I had been reading Any Given Doomsday but I got distracted by life and writing.

I just finished Evil Ways by Justin Gustainis, the second Morris & Chastain Investigations book. Highly recommended though the language is a bit coarse in places if that wigs you out.

I just started Coyote Dreams by C.E. Murphy. Third book in the Walker Papers series, which I also recommend.

I'm actually between books at the moment.
On Friday I finished the audiobook of "ArchEnemy" by Frank Beddor, completing the "Looking Glass Wars" trilogy.
I also finished the dead-tree book of "Vampire Haiku" by Ryan Mecum.

Awaiting my reading is the book "Odd and the Frost Giants" by Neil Gaiman, part of the flood of Gaiman-borrowing from the library that we started last year upon hearing that Neil was going to make a personal appearance at the Indianapolis library this spring.
