being anon because I am a general lurker, but I deal with a lot of MRA types IRL and just wanted to say: beware of misdirection. They're not actually concerned with the topic you're discussing -- they're going to try to turn the conversation to the black hole of whether men face discrimination and whether it's as bad as what women face and whether this panel is a symbol of female oppression, so have answers prepared for that. They really don't have a leg to stand on -- they'll try to argue that since second-wave feminism women have been gradually becoming the oppressors (the logic behind this follows something along the lines of "what do you mean all ladies are not required to have sex with me? this is madness!") but just calmly assert the fact that having rights and being respected is not a zero-sum game. Nobody loses just because someone else gains. This is antithetical to their way of thinking but it presents a logic block that they generally can't figure out a way to get around or distract from

Oh god, I hope you'll be able to stay calm, because personally I get mad just by thinking about MRA. I always end up in screaming matches in situations like that, it's horrible. Good luck! Also with moving to NYC!
