Golden ginkgo leaves lie thick on the ground, and the sky is as soft and cloudy as a cat's belly. It's officially cold enough to wear socks every day. 1. I have one burner and no oven.

Ah. No microwav then I take it?

I usually make my shepherds pie with Instant mashed potatoes, heresy, I know. but they are fast and easy and can be made to taste quite good. But that wouldn't probably work in a crockpot either. I don't know, I've never used one.

I do have a microwave. Never occurred to me to make a shepherd's pie in it.

There might be instant mashed potatoes in Korea, but I've not seen them in Iksan. Maybe Costco has them. There's a Costco in Daejon, which is about an hour away by train.
