1. I don't really daydream that much... however, currently, the scene that keeps trying to play itself in my head is of someone going to visit his... ward, I guess, in a new place, and telling him how much he and the other guardian miss him without actually saying that in so many words.
2. There are a bunch of scenes from Princess Mononoke that I will always love (especially the one where Ashitaka stops the fight between San and Lady Eboshi, then walks out of town despite being shot through the side). And River's transition from protected to protector, in Serenity, is frikkin' awesome. But... the one scene of any movie that always, always makes me cry is the ending to The Iron Giant. If you haven't seen it, it's hard to describe, but... basically the iron giant saves everyone by sacrificing itself. It's incredibly touching.
3. "Urban fantasy" novels, definitely. They're so trashy, but some of them are so good! Agh ( ... )
