I've done something to anger the doors in my home... Monday night I came home from work and discovered the front door had been unlocked since bedtime the night before. Janus is the god of transitions in Roman mythology, including doorways into the future and past. If you're going to have a problem with doorways, this is the time of year to have it.

Ooh, I like Janus. I'd been thinking Charon but that was a shade or two darker than the situation seemed to warrant. :)

Of course, Janus makes me think Ethan Rayne which is tied to Ripper which... Mmmm.
