If there's a chance that it is detaching, though, there isn't time for other opinions. It's a FIX THIS ASAP problem. There might be other fixit methods, but it's not something to mess around with.

B, I don't blame you for being terrified. Eye problems are a scary, scary thing. I get floaters, too, they're really annoying, but they do eventually fall to the bottom of the eye (yay gravity). Of course, there are new ones that show up... Best of luck over the next while. I'll be thinking of you.

Yeah, I've learned that a lot of the time when one has a medical worry, Google isn't really your best friend. :/

OK, this is a really good argument for me to go to get my eyes checked out. I think I get floaters to, that could explain a lot.
