I want to point out that your second question was horrible! Until I decided that although I loved Rose with Nine, with Ten she was actually annoying for the majority of the series, so I went with that!

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Rose was fine with Nine, but with Ten I just wanted to shake her. I have grown more fond of Martha, particularly when she is in kick-ass-UNIT mode. Just not when she is all lovesick-over-Doctor and Doctor is all lovesick-over-Rose.
