This is brilliant. The steady evolution, Mica's determination--so well described as matching Rhi's--and intelligence. I love how you've shown both that Rhiannon has hidden from these memories and how Mica, though she's forgotten most of the details of her own experiences, has run toward the information that will fill in the gaps. I do think it's typical (of Gwen and TW) for her to take Mica in. I like that you've got Lois worked in (and wonder if she's meant to be working for the school or spying for TW, though i suspect you intended the former). Just really excellent work throughout.

I was trying to work out how I could have Gwen show up almost out of the blue, and suddenly thought of Lois... Maybe she signed up to Torchwood for a five year stretch and decided to opt out at the end of it and try 9-5 for a bit (although I do love Lois-works-for-Torchwood stories). Glad you enjoyed it, I had fun writing!

This brought me to tears. Its like everyone wants to forget Ianto but Mica. And I love how much she resembles her Uncle - quiet, smart, tenacious - just right for TW.

Thank you! I think Gwen wants Mica partly as a way to cling to part of the past, as well as because she has proved herself a cracking investigator...
