Name calling (and a date)

Don't worry, you're not alone...with only two exceptions, EVERY SINGLE GUY I've dated has been a gamer.

However, my current gamer and I have been talking about makin' it legal, so nerdy seems to work for me.

Oh, I loves me teh nerdz. I mean, I'm a huge BOOK nerd, so what would I want with a meathead? Absolutely nothing.

I flat out told this guy that I wasn't interested in playing in any other groups: that this was something that I did with my ex (when he was NOT the ex) and don't want to continue outside of the group I have. He was cool about it and promised me that he could talk about other things besides his characters, his campaigns, his comics, or his dice. He assured me he could and I'm going to hold him to that.

Do you play, or do you let your gamer have his own dice time while you participate in other hobbies?

(sigh)...I used to play. Now my hobbies run more towards grading papers, making lesson plans, and hounding all the derby girls for their up-to-date addresses, insurance information, etc. (I'm FCDG's human resources officer).

Once in a while I'll go down to Lansing to play some Magic: the Gathering with some friends from high school.
