Sad news

My dad died in a plane accident Sunday night. Mom called early Monday morning, and awfulhorrid and I spent most of the day in Elgin helping to figure out what needed to be done. We're all still kind of in shock; I'm not sure how much it has really sunk in that Dad is gone

I can't imagine this kind of shock, though I've been through a parent death - take all the time you need, no pressure to respond in a timely fashion (or at all - I just want you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers).
