Here's my theory, and please take it with a grain of salt, as I know nothing of your relationship with Jonathan.

In my humble opinion, career, above all else, should and must come first. Going to do an unpaid internship that isn't really your first choice will be unfulfilling, and while you will have great companionship, you may find yourself feeling like you are in a rut. Living in someone else's- especially a significant other's- parents house can also at times be very awkward- remember that it's nothing like living with your own.

Go with the job that will gain you a great resume and give you that little extra boost in the account. Jonathan, I am sure, is not going to disappear any time soon.

Best of Luck,
Amanda

I know that it'll definitely blow being away from Jonathan, but my instinct is to go with Option 2. You'll get money, you'll work in your field, you'll have a great opportunity. Then again, I know how hard London was for you. Ultimately, I can't speak for you. But if you do choose Wyoming, watch out for Dick Cheney. Don't let him shoot you in the face, mistaking you for a quail.

Option 1.

I do not believe career should always come first. And I say that as someone who may have to face that choice "for real," not just for the summer in a year. And besides, you get free tuition anyway, so being unfunded for a summer won't kill you and it will be good experience. You might even decide you really like the field.

Have you asked Jonothan for his opinion?

You know I'd go 2 unless three came up. Wyoming and Seattle are close enough that you could spend time together and it'd be a whole hell of a lot better to have money.
Also, I really love that picture of Athena.

You'd think. It's actually a 16 hour drive.

Yeah, Athena's awesome :)
